need a boost?

Lately, I've been feeling so tired and drained. I needed more than my usual Starbs boost. Thanks to my sweet bestie, Ashtin I came across these Instant Energy Boosters. YAY! Here are 10 fabulous and fun energy boosters...

1. tackle a dreary day with a burst of color 
 buy a colorful bathrobe or bright toothbrush, the bright color will spike your adrenaline. my favorite is Pantone's color of the year radiant orchid. 
2. dab on a jasmine-infused fragrance 
jasmine makes you more awake and alert. 
3. sit up straight
poor posture can put tension on the spine, mother knows best on this one. 
4. rise & seek sunshine 
light is a natural energizer. 
5. beware of energy vampires 
after talking to someone, do you ever feel drained? that person is an energy vampire. 
6. show your hands some love 
take a golf ball and roll it in-between your hand and your desk, this sensitive spot will perk you right up. 
7. pull your hair 
no, really. gently tugging your hair creates blood flow to the head, releasing tension. 
8. turn your world upside down 
kick up into a handstand against the wall or bend over and touch your toes. inversions are awesome for blood flow. 
9. embrace the three-minute meditation 
hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. 
10. write a thank-you note 
this is my personal favorite. it's hard to feel stressed and grateful at the same time, so write a little thank-you to your bestie.
